Props to Andy Garcia

I've been reading a lot of coverage lately about Andy Garcia's new film, The Lost City, and I really have to hand it to him. He's not just soft-peddling the issue of Cuba under castro. He's really challenging the predominant view of castro head-on. One such quote follows:

"In the 45 years since Castro came to power, Cuba has been in the top three countries for human rights abuses for 43 of those years. People turn a blind eye to his atrocities."
