Havana: 1950-1960

If you have not checked out Alberto Quiroga's Havana 1950-1960 blog, then I urge you to do so. It's a fantastic stroll down Cuban nostalgia. Alberto doesn't post often, but when he does they are well researched and written pieces, filled with great images and photographs that will enlighten you.

His latest post features this great Bohemia cover that reminds the casual observer that Cuba and the U.S. were once the closest of allies and Cubans did not consider the U.S. to be the big bad bogeyman that castro paints it to be. Read, learn, laugh, cry.
