Cuban population: 11.38 Million

Chinese population: 1.31 Billion

China appears to be winning this dubious honor but take into consideration that China has population 118 times as large as Cuba yet it only has 8 more jailed journalists. If China were to jail journalists at the same rate as Cuba there would be 2,832 Chinese Journalists behind bars.

And the winner of the jailed journalists competition is CUBA!
