One down, four to go...
Como buenos Catolicos, my girlfriend and I decided to give up something for Lent. And since we're both coffee fanatics and caffeine addicts, we decided to support each other and give up coffee for the season. Now, I know she's been having headaches without her coffee, pero coño para mi forget the headaches, I've been asking myself what's the point in getting up if I can't have mi cafecito cubano en la mañana?
le ronca la malanga (and the eggs)
One week down, four more to go.

I will drink one of my coffees for you.... I gave up meat. Imagine!
YOU gave up coffee??? I don't believe it...
charlie, coño asere, no meat... not even my vegie girlfriend could do that to me! BTW: drink two cups for me.
amanda, I know I'm CRAZY, right?
Well, it doesn't mean I am not eating well....
It's tempting, why don't I tell you the truth. But well, I am hanging in there. Coffee, coffee, coffee.... I had one last night for you, with some Cayman Islands rum and honey. By the way, I went a step ahead, and put some cinammon and a hint of chocolate on it. It was great, we will talk more about that when Lent ends so I don't torture you with an unneeded temptation.
Well, Huck Finn said that he'd rather go to Hell than give up the slave Jim to the authorities, give up my expresso? No sir, can't do it.
"That's what being a Protestant's all about. That's why it's the church for me. That's why it's the church for anyone who respects the individual and the individual's right to decide for him or herself. When Martin Luther nailed his protest up to the church door in 1517, he may not have realised the full significance of what he was doing. But four hundred years later, thanks to him, I can wear
whatever I want on my John Thomas and I can drink expresso during any time of the season....

Srcohiba: great quote, and I'm sure Monty Python wouldn't mind!
Charlie: thanks for not torturing, but now I am indeed drooling.
Hoo boy! No cafe con leche??? Yikes! That sounds almost as torturous as the year I gave up chocolate for lent. . . . well, now that I think about it, I don't necessarily have chocolate every day.
Damn dude, God is going to give you some MAJOR brownie points if you can pull this one off. You might even get away without having to say any rosarios for the next year! tee hee.
