So my wife and I are on vacation in Amelia Island, which is near Jacksonville, and we're walking down the street when I see this plaque in front of this building. I had no idea.
Sr. Cohiba, it is a sad part of Cuban History that the failed expedition that Marti funded to bring arms to Cuba, was named the Expedition of Fernadina. It failed because the American Government intercepted the arms and they were subsequently confiscated. All this was done in the name of neutrality.
