The Cuban Sense of Humor

I commented earlier on the word alumbron. Today I heard a related expression that made me smile. An independent Cuban journalist was talking on the phone with a radio station today and they asked him about the black outs. He said "vienen un dia si, y el otro tambien". This is a subtle joke that plays on the expression "un dia si, un dia no" or "every other day". It's bad enough to imagine a situation where you have black-outs "every other day" but imagine if you had a black out "every other day, and the day after that."
