A moment of silence

Let us take five minutes of silence in honor of all those who suffered, and continue to suffer, under fidel castro’s reign of oppression. An oppression that was born, and is declared in honor of, today the 26th of July.

It is said an Eastern monarch once charged his wise men to invent him a sentence to be ever in view, and which should be true and appropriate in all times and situations. They presented him the words: 'And this, too, shall pass away.' How much it expresses! How chastening in the hour of pride! How consoling in the depths of affliction!

-Abraham Lincoln "Address Before the Wisconsin State Agricultural Society, Milwaukee, Wisconsin" (September 30, 1859)

And this, too, shall pass away fidel -this, too, shall pass away.

For those interested in the truth of the 26th of July, Charlie Bravo from KillCastro -A war blog and Mora from Babalu , as our own Conductor from his site Trenblindado have excellent posts and commentary on the subject.
