Born Again Redneck has an interesting post about the state of Canadian healthcare. It seems that Canada is part of an exclusive club with Cuba, and North Korea as the only countries that allow ZERO private healthcare. Actually Quebec is the exception within Canada but in the rest of Canada doctors are simply not allowed to practice privately.
