Charlie Crist might be gay and I don't care!

Woah, much hullaballoo about Charlie Crist and whether or not he is a homosexual. Guess what, this conservative doesn't really give a shit. It's time for the GOP to get beyond its homophobia and unite around the important task at hand, disappointing all those irrational libs.

I'm sure liberals are getting on their knees and praying that Crist comes out of the closet!

Like you said, who cares? That's the last thing liberals want to hear a conservative say.

The lesbian said about this, the better.

It's just moronic to say that because a politician is unmarried, that must make him gay. The libs have nothing to challenge him on, so they impugn the guy to try to hurt him with the religious voters. What do you expect from the New Times? The Herald is good for wrapping mullet and other fish. The New Time's only use is for lining bird cages and litter boxes.

The fact is that the accusations first came from the Gallagher camp during the primary which shows you how much of a loser he is. There's a lot of circumstantial evidence s to Crist's gayness but like I said, I don't care. Problem is that it may sway some of the bible thumpers to vote for the indy candidate and launch Davis into the governor's mansion.

I don't even see circumstantial evidence. There's purported statements by unreliable witnesses, many of them with an ax to grind. And he had a short marriage followed by divorce and then no remarriage.

What does that prove?

There, I changed the title of the post.

Aha! Te lo dije cuando you posted during the Rep primaries to vote for Crist! Now you rail against the social Rep unfairly labeling their concern as homophobia. You were out there saying that Crist being gay was rumors & lies. Un hombre would say he got it wrong instead of posting vulgar language that in my eyes looks like cheap cop-out. I read your blog posting a lot pero en estar mijo estas mal......no excuse!

Ah my friend you have selective memory. What I said then is the same as what I'm saying now: I don't care if Crist is gay. I said I was voting for him because he was the Republican that had the best chance to beat the Democrats. I said Gallagher was a loser, that he had the stench of a loser. I said that I think government should get out of the business of sanctioning religious institutions such as Marriage.

If you care to revisit my remarks you can...

Bueno hermano, that type of anti-marriage rheteric will keep cuban-abuelitas home because we are in a culture war y las abuelitas de nuestra tierra recognize que la moralidad esta por el pizo. A homosexual Gov will only enforce the Foley effect of the Rep movement. Conservatives understand that blue-blood (RINO) Rep cant win without us. Seems they want our votes to win pero para el carajo con our values. Gov should come in a sanction marriage between a M & W before we go as the Romans. Ask you mother and abuelitos que piensan de tu position on marriage and Gays? I am curious to hear..... :-)

Guarjiro,

You said that I said something before and that now I changed my mind. And I have discredited your statement. I gave you the link. Will you acknowledge that I have not changed my position?

I can be conservative and not anti-gay at the same time. Every single one of us has a gay family member or acquaintance. Think about that cousin or uncle that you may have who has never done anything to bother anyone. Gay does not equal child molestor just as straight does not equal rapist.

One of my abuelitas is dead and the other is senile. But my mother I am sure agrees with me. Live and let live. I am for the separation of church and state. That would solve a lot of these little disagreements. If gays want to get married in a church that accepts that, fine. I don't have to go to that church or even acknowledge its existence. But you want the government to give its blessing (pardon the pun) to what is really a religious institution.

I don't care who Charlie Crist shares his bed with. That's his business as long as it's a consenting adult. What I do care is that he does something to give us property tax relief. I care if he has a plan to bring competition and thus lower prices back to the property insurance market. I care about his plan for making our public education system leaner and better.

The man is not campaigning on a gay rights platform. Nor can he make laws by himself.

I don't know what your hang-up is about gays but I'd look into it.
