A new word in the Cuban Lexicon

I heard somebody say the word alumbron on the radio and I thought it was very appropriate. I have decided to pen the official definition. Call me the Cuban Webster.

alumbron

Definition:
Alumbron: A state of temporary illumination or power generation where it is otherwise absent. The inverse of a black out or apagon.

Usage:
Aproveche y cocine los frijoles durante el alumbron ayer, pero hoy se echaron a perder porque no hay luz.

I took advantage of the alumbron yesterday and cooked the beans, but today they were spoiled because there is no power.
